WHAT ARE GEOCACHES

Geocaching is essentially a treasure hunt where the main objective is to find caches that have been hidden or stashed. Although caches (the hidden treasure) can come in all shapes, forms, and sizes, for my project they will be realistic-looking rocks that contain a laminated QR code on the bottom of them. Once scanned, the code will provide a detailed description of the site you are at (for an extra fun challenge, you can print out the worksheets provided on this website to fill out the questions when visiting each geocache location). In order to find the geocaches, I have listed their coordinates (latitude, longitude) under the Geocache Locations tab. You can type these coordinates into Google Maps to find the specific locations of each geocache. For more information about geocaches, check out this website:
